SAMP & BEANS

YIELD: Serves 6-8

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g (1 packet) Samp and Bean Mix
  • 100 g Brown Onion Stock Powder (04246010)

METHOD

1. Soak the samp and bean mix overnight (8 - 12 hours) in ± 2 litres of water. Drain. 2. Place pre-soaked samp and beans in a large pot with ± 6 litres of water and half the Brown Onion Stock Powder. Boil over medium heat for 2 - 3 hours or until soft. 3. Add in the remaining stock powder 10 minutes before end of cooking time and mix through. 4. Spoon into a serving dish. Serve warm.
