SALSA & SWEET CHILLI BOERIE ROLLS

YIELD: Serves 6

INGREDIENTS

  • 80 g Pineapple, diced
  • 80 g Cucumber, diced
  • 80 g Red onion, diced
  • 10 g (2 small) Red chillies, thinly sliced
  • 600 g Boerewors, made using Kameeldoring™ Boerewors The Original (03033010)
  • 600 g (6) Hotdog rolls, cut lengthwise on top
  • 125 ml (½ cup) Thai-Style Sweet Chilli Sauce (07653040)

METHOD

1 Mix the pineapple, cucumber, red onion and red chillies together to make a salsa. 2 Place the boerewors on an open grill to cook for 5 - 8 minutes on each side depending on the thickness, turning halfway through. Cut into 6 equal portions. 3 To assemble: Place boerewors down the centre of the cut rolls, drizzle with Thai-Style Sweet Chilli Sauce and top with equal amounts of salsa to serve.
