GRILLED MEXICAN MIELIES

YIELD: Serves 6

INGREDIENTS

  • 90 g (6 Tbsp) Butter
  • 30 g (2 Tbsp) Flavamate (04102010)
  • 10 g (2 tsp) Paprika Ground (07663050)
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 1.2 kg (6) Mielies, parboiled
  • 125 ml (½ cup) Delinnaise (07663050)
  • 2 g (2 tsp) Lime zest

METHOD

1. Mix together the butter, Flavamate, Paprika Ground and Parmesan. 2. Spread the butter mixture evenly over each Mielie. 3. Grill over an open flame or in heated griddle pan until charred on all sides. 4. Mix the Delinnaise and lime zest together and drizzle over the charred mielies before serving.
