FISH BAKE
YIELD: Serves 6-8
INGREDIENTS
- 1.2 kg Fish, hake fillets
- 85 g White Sauce R/P (08432025)
- 750 ml (3 cups) Milk
- 60 g Lemon & Herb Sprinkle (04185010)
- 50 g Flavoured Crumb R/P (08627030)
- 30 g (2 Tbsp) Butter/Margarine, melted
METHOD
1. Preheat an oven to 180°C. 2. Place the fish in an oven dish and par bake for 6 - 10 minutes. Remove from oven and pour off excess liquid. 3. Mix the White Sauce R/P and milk in a saucepan and bring to the boil over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sauce has thickened. 4. Sprinkle 45 g of the Lemon & Herb Sprinkle over the par baked fish and top with the white sauce. 5. Mix the remaining sprinkle with the Flavoured Crumb R/P and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the white sauce. 6. Return to oven and bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until crumb is golden brown and fish is cooked.
