LAMB CUTLETS & STEAK SALAD
YIELD: Serves 8 - 10
INGREDIENTS
Lamb Cutlets
- 1.2 kg Lamb, cutlets
- 375 ml (1½ cups) Sosatie Marinade RTU (07533040)
Grilled Steak
- 40 g Savannah Braai Spice (08700010)
- 15 g (3 Tbsp) Fresh coriander, finely chopped
- 1.2 kg Beef steak
- 60 ml (¼ cup) Oil, for frying
METHOD
For the Lamb Cutlets: Coat the lamb chops with Sosatie Marinade, cover and allow to marinate for ± 30 minutes. Cook on an open grill for 3-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your preference. Or preheat a griddle pan on medium to high heat and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side. For the Grilled Steak: Mix the Savannah Braai Spice and coriander together in a bowl and rub onto the steak. Cover and allow to marinate for ± 30 minutes. Heat the oil in a griddle/skillet over medium to high heat and grill the steak for 3-5 minutes or until cooked to your preference. Allow to rest before slicing. Plate over a green salad and serve with the lamb chops.
